More than just a pretty pastel, coral has been plucked from the depths of the ocean and brought into interiors. This cheerful shade has been chosen by Sanderson as a key colour for 2016, and this season the team are pairing it with on-trend blues and greys to bring a new dimension to decorating.
Blending coral and blue brings a sophisticated, Mediterranean aesthetic into the home. Coral is synonymous with spring and summer, but by combining it with blue, it is given a multi-seasonal appeal. Mint is a complementary colour for both shades and introduces a colour pop to this scheme.
Grey adds an edgier side to coral, giving a hint of masculinity and creating a modern haven. Grey tempers the bright shade of coral, yet still allows it to shine.
