Conrad London St. James is delighted to announce it has won three accolades at the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards. The award ceremony took place in St Moritz, Switzerland on 2nd December, and saw participants from more than 50 countries come together to celebrate the luxury hospitality industry.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards recognises elite hotels and resorts in over 60 categories on a country, regional, continent and global basis. This year the awards celebrated its 11thanniversary in awarding the world’s finest hotels for their high-end offerings and exceptional service delivery.

Conrad London St. James was announced as the UK winner in the Luxury Contemporary Hotel category and in addition, the hotel was awarded the regional winner in the Luxury City Hotel and Luxury Art Hotel categories for London. All the winners are determined by a public voting system during a six-week process and Conrad London St. James received over 300,000 votes from international travellers.

Beverly Payne, General Manager at Conrad London St. James said: “We’re thrilled to have won several awards at World Luxury Hotel Awards this year. Recognised as the best luxury contemporary hotel in the whole of the UK is a real honour. We are also delighted with our London awards, as we know the competition is always so steep. We often refer to the hotel as a living art gallery so we are particularly happy to receive the award for luxury art hotel, as our collection is something we are very proud of. Similarly to have won the luxury city hotel category, for London, is really exciting as it reflects the work and dedication from the whole team to create a memorable and luxury experience for guests.’

Anton Perold, Managing Director for the World Luxury Hotel Awards said: “We wish to congratulate all our winners for the 2017 award year, who through their tireless efforts and unbounded passion to satisfy their guests needs, have received this honour. True luxury is no small feat, it takes a team of highly dedicated staff willing to go the extra mile and stop at nothing to ensure that no request goes unanswered. This is the definition of luxury, this is what defines a World Luxury Hotel Awards winner.”

With a prime London location on the doorstep of Westminster, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, Conrad London St James is perfectly placed in the heart of the city and a smart choice for the modern-day traveller. Representing the best of iconic London, the hotel offers sleek interiors, state-of-the-art facilities and legendary hospitality.
