Conrad Hotels & Resorts has made its debut in India with the opening of Conrad Pune. Located in the heart of the central business district, the hotel is managed by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Palm Grove Beach Hotels.
The new property is located near Koregaon Park, the city’s commercial, residential and entertainment districts. It is accessible to the city’s IT and business hubs as well as the airport.
“The introduction of the Conrad brand in India marks a significant milestone for the brand’s expansion in South Asia, and Pune enjoys a robust demand for high-end hospitality from affluent travelers from around the globe,” said Amit Midha, general manager, Conrad Pune. The hotel includes 310 guestrooms, starting at 450-sq-ft, including 20 suites, featuring up-to-date in-room technology and five-fixture marble bathrooms with walk-in rain showers and soak tubs.
The dining options at the hotel include three restaurants, a bar, a poolside cafe, delicatessen and a lobby lounge. According to the company, the hotel features a dedicated rejuvenation floor with the city’s first outdoor temperature-controlled pool, a kids’ pool, whirlpool, a 24-hour fitness center, a full-service Conrad Spa and a salon. The 20,000-sq-ft of meeting and event space at the hotel features a grand ballroom, meeting rooms, seven boardrooms, indoor automotive lift and state-of-the-art audio visual technology.
