Luxury fabric specialist, Kobe, has put together its essential Essente Summer collection of stunningly chic, easy-to-care for, affordable interiors fabrics.

The stylish collection, which includes curtains, voiles and sheers, dim-outs and upholstery fabrics, for both domestic and commercial interiors, features fabrics in a cool linen, soft chenille and silk satin appearance.

Curated from the extensive selection at Kobe’s accessible Essente ranges, the summer ‘edits’ offer a bright and breezy palette of naturals, neutrals and pastels. Essente retail price levels from £16 to £22 for curtain weights and £27 for upholstery fabrics.

Beautiful woven jacquard curtains from the Willow and Walnut ranges, can transform a room. Willow has a matt taffeta look and feel with a damask pattern on a satin weave background and comes in six colours, including soft pastels and a contemporary black. Walnut has a linen appearance with an ikat geometric pattern and is available in seven tones.

Furniture is the focal point of any interior so it’s important that the design, colour and texture complement the theme. Catalpa can be used for both curtains and upholstery. This woven jacquard has a fine herringbone stripe and is brushed to give a semi-plain look. With a soft natural touch it is available in 14 shades.

Said David Harris, md of Kobe UK: “We have put together a collection that is essential for this summer’s interiors. Essente offers a wide selection of chic, commercial and easy-care interior fabrics and benefits from the logistical expertise and quality of Kobe, while giving access to a wider customer base through its realistic price points.”

When used for upholstery, Kobe’s Essente fabrics can be supplied with a domestic backcoat which complies with the BS 5852 ignition source 0 and 1, passing the cigarette and match test.

All Kobe’s upholstery fabrics offer exceptional durability, scoring highly on the Martindale Rub Test.
