The 135-bedroom Crowne Plaza Leeds hotel has completed a £4.5m refurbishment, 18 months after it was forced to close for eight weeks following the Boxing Day flood of 2015.
Located on Wellington Street, the investment has resulted in the creation of a new bar, restaurant, Club lounge, lobby, mezzanine level, grand staircase and installation of £25,000 of technology across its function suites.
All the bedrooms have also been refurbished. There are now two different styles of King Suite, an Executive Suite and Club Rooms all with additional benefits, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, a free standing bathtub and access to the Club lounge.
Work on the new bar and restaurant was carried out by contractors Murray and Willis and architects Falconer Chester Hall.
