Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its second hotel in Nanjing. Hilton Nanjing Riverside, the second Hilton property to open in Nanjing in less than a month, is located on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River – Asia’s longest river, and is seven kilometres from the Central Business District and 45 kilometres from the Nanjing Lukou International Airport.Martin Rinck, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide, said, “The presence of Hilton Worldwide in Nanjing is growing with the opening of our second hotel in the city within a month. The emergence of Nanjing as an important transportation hub in Eastern China and the lower Yangtze River area is the reason behind our decision to operate a second property here.”

The hotel features a contemporary style with 411 spacious guest rooms and suites, many of which have a private balcony with superb Yangtze River views, spacious bathrooms and walk-in closets, along with generous work spaces and high-speed internet access.

Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotel & Resorts, said, “With panoramic views over the Yangtze River and extensively landscaped grounds, this city hotel also has a unique urban-resort feel to it, which adds another dimension to the signature Hilton hospitality that guests familiar with our brand have come to recognize and expect.”

Hilton Nanjing Riverside also boasts stunning conference and event facilities with 16 versatile meeting rooms and a unique oval-shaped 1,100-square meter pillar-less Grand Ballroom. There is also a business centre and the convenience of wireless internet access throughout the hotel. Recreational facilities include a health club, an indoor swimming pool and an on-site spa with six treatment rooms.

In addition, with four exciting new outlets, Hilton Nanjing Riverside is poised to claim a spot as a local dining destination. The River Café, an all-day dining restaurant, combines favourites from Western and Asian cuisines, while East-West Grill offers a delightful combination of Asian and Western grilled food with an open show-kitchen and expansive views of the Yangtze River. Ming Xuan is the beautiful Chinese restaurant located at the top floor of the hotel and named after the famous Ming Dynasty. It showcases the best of Cantonese and Huaiyang cuisines with 12 private dining rooms. Otherwise, cocktails can be enjoyed in the comfortable ambience of the Flow-Lobby Bar.
