Leading Hotels of the World member ‘Hotel de l’Europe’ became the first 5 star certified hotel of the Green Key Program in Amsterdam, The Netherlands a few years ago. Baulmann Leuchten has recently become involved with the chain.The Deluxe hotel in the city center of Amsterdam was awarded for its outstanding commitment to environmental performance.
They even got the highest level of performance which can be achieved, the ‘Golden’ status. It perfectly fits to the recently lounched ‘Leading Green Link Program’, of which Baulmann Leuchten is involved.
Continuing this outstanding commitment to environmental performance Hotel de l’Europe has now refurbished all bathrooms with energy saving luminaires from Baulmann Leuchten in Germany.
The wall-mounted luminaires are made from polished stainless steel and are equipped with electronic ballast for energy saving flourescent lamps.
Together with the famous dutch architects Dam & Partners Architecten from Amsterdam, the lighting designer Industrielicht BV made sure that the luminaires are placed on both sides of the mirror to garanty a glare-free and even illumination.
