Crowne Plaza London ‒ Heathrow T4 is a 456,000-sq ft development with 304 comfortable and modern bedrooms. For event organisers and meeting planners the hotel offers a range of business and meeting facilities including five meeting rooms accommodating up to 100 people and the very latest technology. In addition, a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness centre allows delegates to keep their health and fitness goals while away from home.

The hotel features three food and beverage outlets, including the classically-styled Urban Brasserie restaurant serving modern British cuisine, the fashionable Destinations Bar, serving street food and sharing platters as well as innovative and classic cocktails and Tea 4, the elegant lounge setting in the lobby.

This upscale hotel also boasts enhanced facilities such as dedicated quiet zones, a Sleep Advantage Programme, including premium bedding and guaranteed wake up calls, Club Lounge and luxurious bedrooms.

Holiday Inn Express London ‒ Heathrow T4 is a ‘next generation’ Holiday Inn Express hotel. Its 457-room bedrooms have blackout blinds, pillow menus, flat screen smart TVs and the brand’s new larger, cosier beds. For dining, the Holiday Inn Express Bar and Café will serve simple, honest food all day, including the Express breakfast buffet of hot and continental options. Over 100 guest parking spaces are available at the hotels.

The hotels are conveniently located within walking distance of Heathrow’s terminals via a covered link-bridge and with direct access to the London Underground, Heathrow Express train service and nearby motorways.

The two hotels will operate under a franchise agreement with IHG and will be managed by Arora Hotels, a division of the Arora Group. The construction of the hotels has been managed by Grove Developments, the construction division of the Arora Group.

The largest Holiday Inn Express in Europe has opened in the heart of Cologne, InterContinental Hotels Group has announced, with the Cologne City Centre property.

The newly opened property boasts 323 rooms all featuring the next generation Holiday Inn Express design, balancing home comforts with smart design features.

Guests can enjoy sound absorbing headboards, bedside USB ports and flexible in-room working spaces. Free WiFi and a continental breakfast buffet are also included in the room rate.

Ideally located, the hotel is walking distance to the Old Town or a short U-bahn ride to the famous twin spires of Gothic Cologne Cathedral tower.

Within a short distance of Poststraße and Severinstraße U-bahn stations, as well as the city’s Central railway station. If flying in or out, Cologne Bonn Airport is only 25 minutes’ drive away.

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Tuxpan hotel in Veracruz, Mexico. This new-build 132-room hotel is IHG’s third property in the city, with the Holiday Inn  and Crowne Plaza hotels already located nearby.

After the construction of the new Mexico-Tuxpan highway, Tuxpan is now the closest beach destination from Mexico City making it ideal for travelers seeking relaxation and ecotourism adventures alike. The property also offers convenient access to the commercial and industrial areas, and it is a one-hour drive from El Tajin Archeological area.

The Holiday Inn Express Tuxpan hotel has a 24-hour fitness centre, indoor and outdoor children’s swimming pools, outdoor swimming pool for adults, meeting space and a spacious parking lot. InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the opening of the 44-storey, 596-room Holiday Inn Express Waikiki hotel — the largest Holiday Inn Express property in the Americas region.

Located just three blocks from Waikiki Beach, two blocks from Luxury Row shopping and four blocks from the Hawaii Convention Centre, this hotel is well-suited for both business and leisure travelers visiting Waikiki.

The hotel features the brand’s newest design solution which includes a new modern design scheme, ample access to outlets and charging ports and more community workspaces for travelers looking to get work done outside of their guest room.

Additionally, the Holiday Inn Express Waikiki hotel features 4,700 square feet of flexible space with nearly 1,500-square-feet of outdoor seating, and a spacious fifth floorSky Deck with games like giant chess, 9-hole mini golf, a video game room, shuffleboard, foosball and ping pong. Redefine|BDL Hotels expands its portfolio in Edinburgh

Redefine|BDL Hotels (RBH) announced this month that Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre has joined its extensive portfolio of hotels.

The Georgian style property, which boasts excellent facilities and an ideal location within the heart of Edinburgh, will bring the number of open hotels managed by the company to 43.

A significant project to transform guest bedrooms at Holiday Inn Express Antrim is underway.

Refurbishment works at the hotel began on Monday 14 November and will see £110,000 invested in making improvements to 30 rooms within the property over the next fortnight. As part of the wider initiative, all of the property’s 90 bedrooms will be refurbished by the end of 2018, marking an overall investment of £350,000.

The makeover will be in line with the recently launched Holiday Inn Express Next Generation redesign, developed with industry-leading experts to meet the changing needs of today’s ‘Smart Travellers’.

The project will see the carpets, lighting, curtains, chairs and artwork in the rooms all replaced, while the hotel will take delivery of a new bed for every room to ensure guests enjoy a great night’s sleep. Work at the hotel, managed by the UK’s leading independent hotel management company, Redefine|BDL Hotels (RBH), is expected to be completed by 25 November.

Diane McMullan, general manager at Holiday Inn Express Antrim, said: “This investment will allow us to make some fantastic upgrades to our rooms.

“The investment underlines the commitment we have to improving every aspect of our guests’ experience at our hotel. We felt that modernising the rooms was a long overdue project and we’re all excited about how much this will enhance what we have to offer.

“We have put a lot of thought into the improvements being carried out and we are sure they will prove popular with our regular guests and newcomers alike.”

Holiday Inn Express Antrim is located off the M2, near Belfast International Airport. It features four purpose-build meeting rooms and free WiFi access for all guests.

Guests staying at the Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham will soon enjoy a new and improved hotel experience, as the Redefine|BDL Hotels venue begins a revamp of its guest bedrooms.

The Cheltenham property – managed by the UK’s largest independent hotel management company, Redefine|BDL Hotels – will undergo extensive upgrades in August, bringing it up-to-date with the Holiday Inn Express Next Generation redesign.

With over £125,000 earmarked for the revamp and with 40 guest bedrooms receiving improvements across fixtures, fittings and bedding, Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham will be only the fourth hotel in Redefine|BDL Hotels portfolio to undergo the new Next Generation redesign.

InterContinental signs third hotel with Le Groupe Robin

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the signing of a third hotel with the ownership group Le Groupe Robin.

The Holiday Inn Express® & Suites Trois-Rivières hotel will be a 111-room, eco-friendly LEED®-certified property. It will include 79 standard rooms and 32 suites – including eight business suites with private meeting space for up to six people. The hotel is equipped with the latest energy and cost savings technologies such as a large solar wall that will be used to produce energy and power all exterior signage year-round.

Le Groupe Robin will incorporate the city’s rich history into the design and culture of the property. The hotel will feature the Holiday Inn Express brand’s new design solution, which was created to meet the evolving needs of the brand’s target guest who is looking for a simple, smart travel experience.

The InterContinental Group has celebrated the opening of Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre, marking the entry of the Holiday Inn Express brand into Malaysia.

Business travellers will appreciate the 383-room hotel’s strategic location where they have easy access to major financial and commercial buildings such as the world renowned Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Tower, Putra World Trade Centre and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
