Part of the Quorvus Collection, the 136-room G&V Royal Mile Hotel Edinburgh is a design-led, five-star lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town.

The unique name of the G&V Royal Mile Hotel is derived from its prime location on the corner of George IV Bridge and Victoria Street. The hotel is just steps from Edinburgh Castle, Grass Market, The Royal Mile, The Museum of Scotland and The Scottish National Gallery as well as the famous Princes Street and upmarket George Street which both offer hours of shopping heaven. Edinburgh Waverly train station is only an eight minute walk and Edinburgh International Airport is located eight miles away, approximately a 25 minute drive.

Beautiful and bold rooms and suites that balance style with comfort have been designed by leading Scottish artists and designers, part of G&V’s commitment to using and nurturing local talent.

The hotel’s nine suites evoke modern Scotland and have been individually designed by Scottish fashion designer Judy R Clark, artist Christine Clark, design duo Timorous Beasties, artist and textile designer Hatti Pattisson and furniture designer Holster.

Local interior design studio Graven has also designed their own unique suite, as they work on their plans for a complete refurbishment of the lobby and bar areas. The interiors throughout the hotel are stylish and playful with a kaleidoscope of colourful rooms.

Exceptional dining is located in award-winning Italian restaurant Cucina which serves a sophisticated, metropolitan take on authentic Italian cuisine and is popular with guests and locals alike. A chic and vibrant bar provides a true taste of Scotland with a fantastic selection of whiskys and malts in addition to having some of the best mixologists in town shaking and stirring up the finest cocktails.

With thanks to GRIFCO, which has recently taken over PR for the hotel. . .
