The international upper upscale contemporary brand Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts has recently re-launched its South Bank London hotel, Park Plaza London Riverbank.

Recently welcoming its first guests through the doors since receiving a multi-million-pound transformation, the hotel now boasts six new floors and 498 rooms, including Executive Rooms and Junior Suites. The contemporary guest rooms offer stunning panoramic views of Battersea Power Station, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye and is the latest addition to London’s changing skyline.

The meeting facilities which include the Ballroom, which can host up to 540 guests for a seated banquet, have also received a transformation with the addition of three new meeting rooms, the City Suites. Providing a versatile option for those requiring meetings and events spaces, these new suites are the ultimate backdrop for any type of occasion.

The interior design team, Digital Space, has created vibrant bedrooms offering a modern feel, while award winning Pan-Asian inspired Chino Latino Restaurant & Bar has undergone a stunning refurbishment, offering panoramic views of the Houses of Parliament on the first floor of the hotel.

Located on the 12th floor, the new Executive Lounge is the perfect space for guests, and is available for exclusive hire for private events and receptions. The Executive Lounge comes with a fully-functioning boardroom showcasing some of the best river and skyline views in London. The Executive Lounge is the picture-perfect place for business customers to catch up on emails whilst enjoying inclusive afternoon tea, cocktails, or canapés.

Rob Flinter, General Manager at Park Plaza London Riverbank, comments: “We are delighted to announce this major transformation and we truly feel the additional six floors add to the wow factor of the hotel. With the addition of 100 new rooms, the improved meetings facilities and the vast refurbished ballroom, Park Plaza London Riverbank is now one of the best locations in the city for a residential conference. It is not only an exciting time for the hotel but also the South Bank area and we are thrilled to be a part of London’s continued expansion along London’s riverside.”
