The Rezidor Hotel Group has increased their portfolio in the Romanian capital Bucharest to 718 rooms: Besides the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest (424 rooms) which opened in 2008 Rezidor has now signed an agreement to also manage 294 apartments adjacent to the hotel. Approximately 62 of the apartments will be re-branded in December 2010, with the remainder coming in early 2011. Both the hotel and the apartment block are under common ownership. The Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest is already one of the largest and best-quality hotels in town. Besides 424 modern guest rooms featuring signature services such as free high speed internet access, the property offers various Food & Beverage outlets: “Prime Steaks and Seafood”, the Northern Italian “Caffé Citta” and the all-day-dining restaurant “Dacia Felix”, a Lobby Bar and an Irish Pub. An additional Bistro restaurant will be available for guests of the apartments. Further services of the hotel complex comprise a fitness and spa including a swimming pool, a heath academy, a casino and 12 meeting rooms equipped with latest technology.

Bucharest fascinates with a wealth of historic treasures and tourist attractions, and the hotel is ideally located to enjoy all of them. It is close to the major shopping areas, the business district, museums, art galleries and theatres. The Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest is under the leadership of an award-winning General Manager: Yilmaz Yildirimlar was recently honoured with the prestigious “Hotelier of the Year 2010” award by Hospitality Trends.
