Brad Pitt is considering building an upscale complex for about 2,500 people in Croatia’s coastal town of Zablace.
It would be an extension of Zablace that would include a hotel, villas, a golf, restaurants and retail stores.
The Hollywood star wants it to be eco-friendly; its cost is estimated at $1.5 billion.
Brad Pitt already considered a project in this Croatia in 2012 when he wished to develop a resort in the country at Istia, under the name “Barabriga”, but it was not completed.
The current project is part of a collaboration with the architect Nikola Bašić and the investment firm TFI Holding. The investment firm has already invested about $70 million.
