Miralago Luxury Apartments marks the transformation of the former Hotel Miralago into eight private residences overlooking Lake Como, a project by Villa d’Este La Collezione in Cernobbio…
The interiors of Miralago Luxury Apartments, designed by Studio Droulers Architecture, blend the tradition of lakeside villas with a contemporary vision, creating bright and refined spaces where the history of the place, design and local culture come together in an intimate and timeless experience.
The architectural and interior design, led by Milan-based Droulers Architecture, draws on the heritage of the great historic villas of Lake Como while embracing a distinctly modern language. A soft, luminous palette of creams, pale blues and natural woods reflects the colours of the water, sky and surrounding vegetation, while natural materials and carefully selected vintage pieces add warmth and character. The result is a sequence of elegant, liveable interiors that feel both curated and welcoming.

Design details from Dedar
Young Nureyev in col. 022: A sumptuous yet understated fire-retardant velvet: a mingling of beauty, softness and colour. Soft and thick, this fabric has a deep, tidy and compact pile which underlines its personality. A discreet luminosity recalls the refinement of a precious cotton interpreted in a wide colour palette. Suitable for curtains and intensive upholstery.
Lilaz in col. 003: On a textural and irregular panama weave, an artisanal flock comes to rest, depicting hills and cascades, Japanese clouds, or a landscape in Indian ink: a fluctuating picture that awakens various sensitivities. The artisanal screen-printing process harmonizes contrasts: the compact hand hosts a velvety hand-feel, and the slightly textural ground of Minima Mirabilia vibrates with delicate shades and discreet metallic accents. A gilt pigment regales Art Déco suggestions. Ideal for seating and decorative applications.
Regimen in col. 007: A sartorial fire-retardant fabric in extra-width, Regimen is inspired by the world of neckties. A high density of warp yarns creates the striped pattern with a particularly detailed definition.
Sansone in col. 026 : Fire-retardant, hard-wearing and washable, this velvet owes its particular softness and the luminosity of its elegant colours to the fact that it is woven on looms used for the production of silk velvet.
Alumnus in col. 001: A sartorial fire-retardant fabric in extra-width, Alumnus is inspired by the world of neckties. A high density of warp yarns creates the striped pattern with a particularly detailed definition.
Be Bop A Lula in col. 008: A sumptuous textural jacquard that puts the spotlight on colour, whose joyful and evocative tones recall the shirt-making industry and the energy-packed world of music. Suitable for both curtain and seating applications.
