Designed by DBI Architects with interiors by Hachem, Andaz Gold Coast will channel the changing light, colour and landscape of its coastal setting as the lifestyle brand prepares to make its Australian and Pacific debut…
Andaz is preparing to make its Australian and Pacific debut with the opening of Andaz Gold Coast in Broadbeach later this year. Bringing together architecture by DBI Architects and interiors by Hachem, the 202-key hotel has been conceived around the movement of sunlight across the Gold Coast – from the fresh tones of a Pacific sunrise to the richer hues of twilight over the hinterland – creating a design narrative intended to evolve from day to night.
Surrounded by Broadbeach’s resorts, dining, entertainment, nightlife and shopping, the hotel will place guests moments from the beach, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Each of the 202 guestrooms and suites will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, expressive interiors and premium in-room amenities designed to create a relaxed, residential feel.
Select rooms will feature private outdoor spaces, while suites will offer generous living and entertaining areas, deep soaking bathtubs and dual vanities. The hotel’s signature Andaz Residence Suite will elevate the experience through an expansive entertainer’s terrace and spacious indoor-outdoor living areas designed for longer stays and private gatherings.
Meanwhile, Nove Restaurant and Bar will reinterpret Mediterranean hospitality through a modern Australian lens, celebrating the region’s vibrant culinary traditions while showcasing the finest local produce with a fire-led cooking and shared dining at its heart.

Vista Lounge will form the social heart of the hotel, shifting naturally from day to night, while the intimate Verde Bar will be a destination for golden-hour cocktails and elevated bites. Outside, the expansive Andaz Pool Club will bring together sun-soaked lounging, private cabanas, refreshing cocktails and dining.
Guests will have access to a fully equipped Technogym fitness centre alongside a program of locally connected experiences designed to introduce guests to the Gold Coast beyond the hotel.
“Andaz Gold Coast represents an important milestone as the Andaz brand prepares to debut in Australia and the Pacific,” said David, Udell, Executive Vice President and Group President, Asia Pacific at Hyatt. “The hotel has been designed to capture the optimism, creative energy and natural contrasts of the Gold Coast, giving guests new ways to experience the destination through design, food, culture and personal discovery.”
“We look forward to welcoming guests into a hotel that feels unmistakably of the Gold Coast,” said Saraid Carey, General Manager, Andaz Gold Coast. “From sunrise-lit guestrooms and expressive dining to afternoons around the pool and cocktails at golden hour, every element has been shaped around the way people want to experience this destination.”
