Originally a neglected Franciscan priory, the Hotel Monopol site was purchased and works completed in 1892. Architect Karl Grosser was responsible for transforming the abandoned building into a very modern hotel with beautiful Neo-baroque façade.Recently taken over by new owners, the hotel has undergone a careful renovation resulting in a stylish yet modern hotel that retains the glamour, opulence and authentic period details. Great attention was taken to ensure the contemporary styling was in keeping with its historical settings.

The Walle range of wall and ceiling mounted lights are manufactured from Fibreglass, Orgilex and Dibond and are available many finishes with personalized colour options available on request.

Organic are pioneers in the use of new materials (such as Orgilex) in the construction of their light fixtures; in fact, Orgilex was first conceptualized and put into production by Organic. Orgilex is a chemically treated, hand finished material, creating a new and flexible light diffusing medium.

Light sources available in the Walle range include halogen, metal halide and Power LEDs, offering the architect and lighting designer countless application possibilities.

Organic lighting products are available in the UK through FW Lighting.
