The luxury Palais Namaskar Hotel and Spa in Marrakech opens as part of the Oetker Collection of ‘Masterpiece’ Hotels in April 2012. An idyllic resort of 41 suites, villas and palaces, Palais Namaskar has been beautifully constructed following Feng Shui principles and lies in a picturesque setting between the Atlas Mountains and the Djebilet Hills. Renowned French-Algerian designer, and former associate of Philippe Starck, Imaad Rahmouni is behind the exquisite architecture, which blends Oriental and contemporary developments enhanced by subtle Moorish and Andalusian touches.Palais Namaskar sits amidst 50,000 square metres of scented and manicured Balinese-inspired gardens complemented by cascading waterfalls and lakes; water flows through over 1.5 hectares of Palais Namaskar’s grounds. The philosophy behind the property is to provide guests with a magical and unique setting in which to disconnect from the world and experience their perfect moment.

Accommodation at Palais Namaskar ranges from the vibrant Residences, where spacious suites overlook private pools and Jacuzzis, the more secluded Pool Villas with minimalist but comfortable furnishings and entirely enclosed private gardens and heated pools, and the lavish three or four-bedroom Palaces, perfect for friends and family requiring an exclusive space.

Dining facilities at Palais Namaskar include Le Namaskar Restaurant, which overlooks the main pool and is set to be the place to be seen in Morocco. The Tea Lounge provides a more relaxed setting for light snacks and afternoon tea featuring Mariage Frère and a stylish rooftop bar affords stunning views across both the Atlas Mountains and the Djebilet Hills.

Palais Namaskar’s spa has two double treatment rooms with private hammam and four individual cabins with private outdoor terraces. Treatments are by ILA and focus on both spiritual and physical healing. The property’s stunning grounds also provide the perfect setting for anindulgent treatment or guests can request an in-room spa experience. A well-equipped gym with the latest equipment and a 1km jogging path surrounding the resort contribute to the exceptional wellbeing and fitness facilities and a personal trainer and yoga teacher are on hand for private or group classes.
