RJD Interiors have recently been called in by New World Group, who manages the Ramada Encore at the NEC in Birmingham, to work their magic on marked and dented meeting room doors. The doors looked shoddy and were not a good first impression for the business meeting rooms. RJD Interiors’ fitters, who are trained in using wax and touch up pens, got to work to transform the doors to their original ‘good as new’ state.

The hotel’s manageress was thrilled with the work, and is considering calling RJD in to touch up and repair bedroom doors and furniture.

Daran Jones, Director of RJD, said, ‘it is a much cheaper option to have the woodwork touched up rather than replace the furniture. It is also, therefore, more eco-friendly’.

RJD Interiors are sub-contract interior fit out specialists. They are serious about health and safety and have an excellent track record with our clients for carpentry and joinery fit out projects.

They work in the hospitality and leisure, education, commercial and healthcare sectors manufacturing and fitting bespoke joinery such as reception counters, bars, bench seating and the like.

Their latest projects involving the supply and/or fit out are:
• St Mary’s Imperial College Hospital, Paddington – floors 1,2,9
• London Clinic, Westminster – floor 8
• Express by Holiday Inn, Tamworth, Leeds, Manchester and London – bedrooms and front of house
• Travelodge – bedrooms across the UK
• Hampton by Hilton, Newport – bedrooms and bar area
• City Inn, Birmingham and Manchester – bedrooms
• Hilton, Reading – bedrooms and bar area

RJD’s staff are up-to-date with the latest health and safety courses, including the CITB Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), asbestos awareness and manual handling. They also hold relevant CSCS cards.
