New restaurant, bar and F&B offering for Brighton hotel

PURE Pop-up Restaurants & Events has announced a new partnership with The Royal York Hotel, Brighton.

The collaboration, which will see a new F&B concept in every aspect of the boutique hotel from bespoke conference and banqueting menus and room service, to private dining in the Karaoke pods and a new concept restaurant and bar, starts this summer as an extended partnership with the 51-bed, 4* hotel. Pop Restaurant and Bar at The Royal York Hotel will unite a sumptuous mix of city chic with bohemian seaside charisma in a vibrant and bustling Brighton surrounding, just minutes from the famous Palace Pier.

POP will be managed by Nicola Delmege, a well-known face in Brighton having owned and run The PV @ The Jury’s Out, Brighton since 2003. Evensus Ltd owner and managing director, Jerome Ibanez will retain overall management of the venue in partnership with the hotel.

Neal Brunning joins the team from The Courtyard in Brighton. As Head Chef of POP, Brunning has created a menu that celebrates the restaurant’s seaside location and local suppliers. Dishes include Roast Cod and Clam Chowder, Risotto of Crab, Avocado Ice Cream, and Pan Seared Wild Sea Bass Fillet with Crab beignet.

PURE marks its first foray into hotel catering partnerships with the summer launch of POP Restaurant and Bar. Part of bar, restaurant and event management company Evensus Ltd, the team behind the launch have previously managed restaurants, bars, pop-up venues and private event spaces, working with leading chefs and establishing partnerships with brands such a Relais Chateaux and Pommery Champagne.

    POP launches on 7th September.
