The Mövenpick Hotel Ramallah is expected to become a cultural and architectural landmark, offering several culinary options in its urban location in the heart of Ramallah. The hotel was softly opened for business on the 1st November 2010.Mövenpick Hotel Ramallah in Palestine is the city’s only modern five star hotel and its 171 rooms include ten Junior Suites, eight Diplomatic Suites and two Presidential Suites. The hotel is ideally situated in the diplomatic Almasyoun quarter, just minutes from the city centre’s excellent shopping and entertainment venues.

Tailored to both business and leisure travellers, the Mövenpick Hotel Ramallah will include 20 suites of different categories and include state-of-the-art facilities. A heated large swimming pool with a barbeque restaurant and gymnasium are also available.

The hotel will offer the finest dining experiences under one roof, from formal to casual dining and there is always something for every taste; the Allegro will introduce Italian cuisine to Ramallah under the guidance of the hotel’s own Italian Chef.

The hotel will also feature the Al Riwaq all-day-restaurant with floor to ceiling windows and an outdoor patio overlooking the pool; it will be the city’s newest see-and-be-seen social destination. The Newz bar also serves as a great meeting destination with indoor and outdoor casual dining areas. Meanwhile the Sparkles lounge will make its mark as a ground-breaking cigar bar in Ramallah and will cater ideally for businessmen and women, or casual crowds.

The hotel will also include the Yabus Ballroom, with 660 square metres of column-free space equipped with cutting edge technology and luxurious décor that will present first class catering for business functions, parties, or social events such as weddings and galas. The ballroom will accommodate up to 800 people, and can be divided into two sections. The hotel also offers seven meeting and breakout rooms, plus a business centre with several workstations and fast internet access and includes two meeting rooms for business needs.

“We are honoured to be part of such a significant project that will introduce a new experience in the beautiful city of Ramallah.” Said Daniel Roche, General Manager of the hotel. “The Mövenpick Hotel Ramallah will play a key role in Ramallah, as we work together with the Arab Hotels Company, our owners, to create a landmark property in Ramallah. As a new resident of Ramallah I’m constantly discovering the many personalities of this city and I can see it becoming a high-energy business community, and a cultural and culinary centre,” added Daniel Roche.
