The InterContinental Westminster opens its doors this month in the heart of London’s political Village, hoping to attract politicians, business people and influencers to restored former government buildings, Queen Anne’s Chambers. In the often febrile world within earshot of Big Ben, appearances count for a great deal. In the run-up to the hotel’s opening, Forbes Group was called in to supply key equipment for the 575 sqm of conference and meeting rooms of the new hotel. Easels with covers, wood lecterns, and sueded drop covers for tables, all bearing the InterContinental logo were required.

Tables will also be presented in stylish and contemporary black Silcra stretch covers, besides the pleated skirting for which Forbes is perhaps best known.

But it won’t be all work and no play in the lower ground floor meeting rooms of Westminster. Reputations beware – a stylish black and white acrylic dance floor was also ordered from Forbes Group.

Forbes’ London representative Damian White described the Westminster hotel as “an extraordinarily elegant project. It was a pleasure to advise the InterContinental on possible combinations to suit their new interiors. I wish them every success.”
