The Sleep Event, London is Europe’s premier exhibition for the design, architecture and development of hotels.Aqua Creations have sponsored the creation of the ‘Lounge’ at the Show. The 47.25 sq meter lounge is being created by designLSM Senior Designer Clare Devlin, highly experienced in her field having previously designed the interior of The Vincent Hotel and highly-acclaimed Runnymede-on-thames.
The Lounge will feature a large panel of wall lights as a focal point on the centre back wall. The majority of the finishes will be monochromatic with the occasional flash of brown and burnt orange. Rather than using standard wallpaper panels, individual patchworks have been created from different ranges and framed giving an arty edge. Mirrors have been strategically placed between the wallpaper and lighting panel on the back wall to reflect the hustle and bustle of passers-by to give visitors to the show a realistic sense of ambient hotel surroundings as well as creating an approachable and stylish space to meet clients and relax in.
