Crowne Plaza hotel opens in Jacksonville, Florida

    InterContinental Hotels Group has opened the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport after undergoing a recent renovation.The 317-room property is the larger of only two full-service hotels in the Jacksonville airport area.

    The Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport has 315 guestrooms and two suites all well appointed with 37” flat-screen TVs, granite countertops, and additional upgraded features.

    Guests have access to a variety of amenities including complimentary wi-fi in the guestrooms and public spaces, indoor/outdoor heated pool, fitness center, business center, same-day laundry and dry cleaning.

    The hotel has three dining offerings, including Rainforest Lounge, Savannah Bistro Restaurant, and Biscotti’s Internet Café.

    The Crowne Plaza brand’s meetings program ensures a planning process consisting of three key components: a Two Hour Response Guarantee, Crowne Meetings Director and a Daily Meetings Debrief. The hotel has more than 2,438sqm of flexible, upscale meeting space, which includes a 883sqm ballroom.

These improvements, along with being the largest and newest hotel near the Jacksonville airport, will allow us to provide an upscale guest experience for both business and leisure travelers visiting the city.”

    The property, located at 14670 Duval Road, is owned and managed by MMI Hotel Group, Inc., and under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
