Vaughan has supplied its Milas Fabric to Firmdale Hotel for the new Crosby Street Hotel in New York.Firmdale’s owners, Tim and Kit Kemp opened their first hotel in New York in October 2009. Kit, who designs all of the hotel interiors with her in-house team, creates a unique, contemporary English style by using a mixture of colour and textile, modern and antique. This combination creates a totally unique look that has won Kit many awards including the Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award 2008.

For Crosby Street, Kit has used Vaughan’s Milas fabric to great effect in the Drawing Room, covering chairs, sofas and even using the fabric for sumptuous curtains. The Milas fabric is one of the Aegean Collection of fabrics from Vaughan, an exclusive collection of colourful, sophisticated, embroidered fabrics.
