After an intensive export expansion drive, Chelsom has achieved global sales coverage by vastly increasing its agent network in the USA, Middle East and Europe. The company also has a manned office in Hong Kong to accommodate clients requiring direct shipments from the Far East.The USA network now numbers 25 agents covering every state. Each agent is well established in the American design and hospitality marketplace and all have been fully trained in the Chelsom lighting collection. Chelsom has also appointed a head of marine sales in the USA sales to build on the success in the cruise marketplace.
Vanessa Soley Peters, who has almost 20 years experience with Chelsom, is now permanently based in Dubai to develop the Middle East market, supported by distributors across the region.
In Europe, project sales are increasing steadily after securing exclusive agents to cover Sweden, Denmark, Bulgaria, Finland and Spain. Plans are in place to widen the European sales network over the coming months.
