Carlson Hotels has opened its 13th Park Inn property in North America and the first of two hotels joining the brand this month in Texas. The opening of the Park Inn Houston North Hotel & Conference Center and a second hotel in Dallas, are part of Carlson’s Ambition 2015 growth strategy.
The non-smoking hotel features two outdoor heated pools, a fitness center, complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi access and American and Tex-Mex dining at Sam Houston’s Grill. The 220-room hotel has 5,180sqm of meeting space, audio-visual equipment, catering, and a professional meetings and events team.

Internationally the brand has achieved major milestone recognition. In 2009, J.D. Power and Associates rated Park Inn number one in Europe for guest satisfaction in the mid-scale segment. The group has 107 hotels in operation globally and 59 hotels currently in development.
