100% Design, the biggest and most prestigious annual design event in the UK, is looking to the future with the introduction of 100% Future Living to the show. Focusing on design, technology and innovation, 100% Future Living will look at how the digital age is shaping the homes and work places of tomorrow. With the integration of iphones, ipads, and other electronic devices into our daily lives, our spaces need to develop and embrace these technologies. Interior services can now be centralized and controlled by a phone or tablet and 100% Future Living aims at highlighting the best of these products and services.

100% Design 2012 will have four industry sectors showcased within Earls Court – Interiors, Office, Kitchens & Bathrooms and Eco Design & Build and 100% Future Living will be the key theme running across each of the four hubs adding significant exposure for exhibitors.

100% Design Show Director, William Knight said: “By adopting Future Living as a key part of the thematic running throughout 100% Design, we are embracing the opportunity of discussing and reflecting the cutting edge issues and design solutions across the industry.

The spaces we live and work in are constantly evolving; reflecting changing trends, technologies and social patterns. As London’s leading design event, 100% Design needs to reflect the latest thinking and product ranges. 100% Future Living is a statement of intent for the show – a commitment to showcasing the best cutting edge design and technology.”

The organisers of 100% Design will be working with a range of key partners including trade associations, trend forecasters and designers to develop content for the hubs, seminars, and show features. As part of this, 100% Design is delighted to announce that the first organisation to back 100% Future Living will be The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) – the international trade organisation for home electronic systems.
