Lea Marston Hotel in Sutton Coldfield is about to start work on its £2 million expansion, which will see its size increase by a fifth.
The hotel, which was opened in 1991, will see its total number of rooms increase to 117 after the new 30 bedrooms have been built.

According to a hotel statement, the expansion comes amidst an increase in demand in the area for hotel rooms and will be supplemented by Lloyds Commercial Bank with a £1.8 million.
Mark Blake, chairman of Lea Marston Hotel, said the new bedrooms would be contemporary and come with free WiFi. Blake said: “Starting the expansion of the hotel has been a milestone achievement for us and supports our vision of long-term growth.”
