Building on from their highly successful ‘Faux Leather’ collections, Sekers can now offer the market ‘Montana’, a 100% corrected leather available in 36 scintillating colourways. With class leading performance in abrasion, colour and light fastness, together with its splash resistant coating, it can be specified with confidence! As you would expect Montana is available by the hide with the average yielding 5.5 Sqm and is produced from the best possible raw materials available. It is suitable for severe contract use passing the U.K. Crib 5 & BS 7176 Medium hazard and relevant U.S. standards. For marine use it passes I.M.O. A652 (16).

Sekers will launch its ‘Harris Tweed’ collection this summer. Consisting of co-ordinating Check, Herringbone and Dogtooth designs in six authentic colours that you would expect from the island of Harris. Interestingly Harris Tweed is the only fabric in the world that is protected buy an Act of Parliament! This states that it must be made with ‘100% pure virgin wool, dyed, spun and finished in the Outer Hebrides and woven by hand by the Islanders in their homes on the Islands of Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra.’

Being 100% wool it is inherently flame retardant and therefore suitable for severe contract upholstery, Curtains and bedding passing all relevant land based and marine standards.
