Leading UK shower manufacturer and designer Roman, has featured on the BBC news presenting the company’s success of being a British manufacturer. Roman has proudly flown the flag for British design and manufacture since they were founded in 1985. They proudly display the Made in Britain logo on all their product packaging, websites and social media platforms along with marketing materials and point of sale merchandising.
The BBC reporter, Ian Reeve, interviewed David Osborne, Managing Director of Roman and Janelle O’Hara, Production Operative, at their headquarters based in the North East. Filming of the company’s factory floor, tray plant and showroom was also broadcast on the BBC news programme.
David undertook several interviews with local radio stations in the North East, answering questions based around British manufacturing; the benefits of being a British manufacturer and about Roman’s success.
David Osborne commented: “We were delighted to be approached to feature as a prime example of a successful British manufacturer in the North East and to speak on both radio and TV, discussing the achievements of Roman.”
