Continuing Harlequin’s rich tradition for producting stunning feature wallcoverings, the Design Studio has taken the concept into a new dimension with its latest, aptly-named collection: Standing Ovation.

A fashion-inspired, couture collection, Standing Ovation is assertive and flamboyant, oozing with vivacity and sophistication. A consummate celebration of pattern and colour, Standing Ovation comprises nine confident designs, over a total of forty options. Drawing on both existing best-selling fabric designs and on original artwork, the collection represents a mix of subtle silhouettes with an extravaganza of full-on colour and pattern.

Retailing from £50.00/roll, Standing Ovation’s wallcoverings come in either standard or wide-width, depending on the motif. They offer an aspirational yet affordable designer look and are guaranteed to bring an added verve to even the most understated scheme.

Bella Stripe: A recolouring of this design from Anoushka features ribbon stripes of varying widths in a stunning array of colours
Coquette: A welcoming paradise of silhouetted flower stems, billowing florals and leaves, in a peaceful monochrome colourway
Doyenne: Immerse yourself in a glorious world of overblown flowers and leaves, in a riot of delicious colours
Epitome: Exotic and embracing, a stylised interpretation of pine cones, complete with prickly needles and flowers

Exuberance: A watery wonderland of painterly, expressionistic florals, appearing as though they are just drying on a corrugated cardboard background
Floreale: A deliciously beguiling painterly floral motif featuring overblown peonies, foxgloves and foliage
Persico: A glorious representation of British birds perched on branches
Quintessence: An opulent 140cm wide x 3m long digitally-printed panel depicting oversized seedheads, artichokes, figs, pomegranates and other exotic fruits: wall art at its best!
Salice: A magical backdrop of graceful and elegant sprays of pussy willow depicted in an abstract painterly manner to dramatic effect

The mouth-watering palette of colours, judiciously enhanced by hints of metallics, comes in a glorious array of shades: turquoise, emerald and navy; tangerine, coral and fuchsia; copper, gilver and gold; lemon, sepia and cornflower; ochre, stone and olive.

Standing Ovation will be launched at the beginning of September, and will be available nationally and internationally via a network of stockists.
