This month Jumeirah Carlton Tower unveiled a stunning transformation of its Ballroom which evokes the timeless style and elegance of Art Deco design. Courtesy of Lynne Hunt London, the exquisite new design exudes an atmosphere of rich and refined beauty, making it an even more desirable venue. While the Ballroom’s grand chandeliers have been retained, peacock granite plinths and gold-tile columns adds to the décor, completing a look reminiscent of 1920s glamour. A beautiful zig-zag effect carpet in shades of chocolate, charcoal, beige and ivory have be installed, along with a stunning gold wall covering.
Suitable for any special occasion or conference, the newly refurbished ballroom accommodates up to 400 guests for dinner or up to 700 for a cocktail reception. Alternatively, the space can be divided into three more intimate areas – Westbourne, Knightsbridge and Salisbury – to accommodate up to 320 guests for a theatre set up, 220 guests for a reception set up, and 50 guests for a banquet set up respectively.
Commenting on the refurbishment, Katherine Gordon, Director of Sales and Marketing, said: “We are very excited to unveil our refurbished Ballroom. The décor’s delicate ‘Moderne’ approach, blended with contemporary Art Deco style, builds upon Jumeirah Carlton Tower’s existing atmosphere of elegance and sophistication. Adorned with impressive chandeliers, the sumptuous Ballroom will continue to offer visitors an elegant, classic setting for any special occasion or conference.”
