DoubleTree by Hilton has unveiled its first property in the bustling Dallas suburb of Arlington and its eighth throughout the Dallas metroplex.

DoubleTree by Hilton Arlington DFW South opens just a few miles from the community’s Entertainment district following an extensive, $10 million renovation.

Less than five miles from Six Flags Over Texas, AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Park and other attractions, the 237-room, five-storey property offers wide-ranging amenities and more than 6,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, all designed to serve the needs of leisure and business travelers. Formerly the Admiral Hotel, it is owned by Admiral Hotel Group LLC and managed by Hotel Equities.

From the moment they step into the welcoming, open-spaced lobby, visitors will see evidence of the property’s extensive renovation, with design treatments, artwork and architectural styles that pay homage to Texas landscape and history. The lobby’s Connectivity Zone features a floor-to-ceiling metal wall of TVs and decorative lighting, the perfect spot to socialize or explore online.

Guest rooms offer complimentary WiFi, a 40-inch HDTV, mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker and workspace; and many provide a pool view, patio or balcony. Whether featuring one king bed or two queen beds, each room provides guests with the soothing DoubleTree Sweet Dreams Sleep

Leisure-seeking guests may swim in the outdoor pool, or relax in one of the poolside cabanas. The complimentary fitness centre is accessible at any time, and features Precor cardio, strength and core fitness equipment. Other complimentary offerings are a 24-hour business center, as well as a roundtrip shuttle to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

DoubleTree by Hilton Arlington DFW South hotel can also accommodate business conferences, banquets and other events for up to 250 guests with 6,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Optional features include a state-of-the-art sound system, LCD projectors and other A/V equipment, and high-speed Internet access.
