ibis Styles, the boutique budget brand from the ibis family, announces the official opening of the ibis Styles Edinburgh Centre St Andrew Square hotel. The brand, known for its distinctive perky personality, has transformed the hotel into a journey through the wilds of the Scottish wilderness, origami stags, tartan trimmed showers, bank notes and thistles to create the perfect wee getaway. This characterful hotel maintains modern functionality with cheeky winks at tradition.

Whilst ibis budget and ibis hotels offer standardised features, fixtures and fittings, the ibis Styles brand enjoys greater freedom when it comes to its uniquely designed hotels. As a result guests can experience all the fun, quirky elements of a boutique property with the quality assurances of a large and well-established hotel brand. Each ibis Styles hotel boasts its own distinct design, great location and ‘all-inclusive’ offer at a great price with loads of little extras!

Located in the heart of Edinburgh, the property offers 103 bedrooms with illustrated murals showcasing different Scottish themes, meaning you might fall asleep in the Scottish wilderness or be woken next to their highland stags. All nights’ sleeps are at the ultimate comfort of the Sweet Bed by ibis Styles™.

And of course, where there are trimmings, they’re tartan ones. Funky furnishings like wee whiskey barrel nightstands and wry Scot slang friezes educate as well as inspire. The playful cultural references will keep you smiling throughout your stay in your own Scottish haven. Just watch out for Nessie who’s hidden amongst the décor of the corridors! Character and comfort is truly guaranteed in every room together with complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV and Freeview, making it the perfect choice for business and leisure guests.

The hotel is ideal for families with large rooms designed to cater for two adults and two children. Parents can sit back and relax while children entertain themselves with the choice of a Kids’ Corner, kids’ TV channel, games and other surprises. Should anything have been left at home parents need not worry as the hotel has all those parenting hotel essentials from high chairs to bottle warmers and folding baby cots available on demand.

To ensure visitor’s energy levels are kept up during their stay a continental all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast is available daily and international cuisine is served in the evening from 6pm-10pm, catering for every palate.

As is the case with all ibis Styles hotels the ibis Styles Edinburgh Centre St Andrew Square hotel boasts a superb location in the heart of the New Town district. The hotel is characterised by the area’s fun and unique atmosphere, with popular tourist picks and shopping areas minutes’ walk away. For those who want to sample the evening attractions including well-loved restaurants, bars and clubs, George Street is a stone’s throw away, allowing you to absorb the local culture at your hearts content
