The Radisson Blu Hotel, Newcastle (170 rooms, opening 2013) will be one of the best-located hotels in town: with frontage on the central thoroughfare (Westgate Road) and adjacent to the main train station. Besides 170 rooms and suites featuring signature services such as free high speed internet access, the property will offer a restaurant, a bar, 400 m2 of conference space and a fitness centre. Parking will also be available.

Newcastle, located in Northern England on the River Tyne, is part of the sixth largest urban area in the UK. It is also one of the best performing hotel markets: in addition to corporate travellers, the city attracts strong leisure demand thanks to its active nightlife, frequent events/conferences and popular soccer team. Moreover, the market has proved resilient through the economic crisis with stable occupancy and rate levels.

The Park Inn Bournemouth (172 rooms, opening 2013) will be located in the city centre, equidistant from the beach and the main train station (journey time to London by train is under two hours). Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is also within walking distance, making the Park Inn the perfect choice for leisure and business travellers. Besides 172 comfortable and contemporary rooms, the property will have a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. With a highly-visible, hilltop location, upper floor guest rooms will have sea views. The hotel is an integral part of a mixed-use development which will include residential towers, office space, retail areas and extensive parking.

Bournemouth is one of Southern England’s largest cities and has always enjoyed a reputation as a premier conference and leisure destination, attracting over one million visitors per year. Summer business is particularly strong, as its 12 km sandy beach attracts visitors from throughout the UK.
