Decorex International, the UK’s only show for high-end interior design, has announced its initial list of exhibitors for 2017.
Taking place this September [17-20] as part of the London Design Festival, the highly anticipated event will see more than 400 established and emerging designers descend to the historical grounds of Syon Park, to launch new collections – from furniture, lighting and decorative accessories to fabrics, wallpapers, tiles and architectural elements – over the course of four days. Expect something special in 2017, as Decorex celebrates its 40th anniversary and will be exploring 40 years of design collaborations, both past and present.
A loyal community of established exhibitors return to Decorex each year and 2017 is no exception; A Rum Fellow, Benchmark, Cox London, Julian Chichester, Nicholas Haslam, Original House, Royal Crown Derby, Sebastian Cox, Tom Faulkner and Vispring to name a few. Renowned for always supporting and celebrating rising talent, Decorex will also host a selection of exciting, new industry names, both from the UK and overseas.
Hunt & Hope, a design duo based in London, are creators of modern, vibrant, hand-stitched needlepoint designs using traditional techniques, but with a fresh and modern approach. Look out for their debut collection of bold and colourful patterns. Larusi will also be exhibiting for the first time
this year. The company has built up a large collection of crafted and weaved textiles from all over the world, some of which will be on display at the show. Artist, Margit Wittig, will offer seven striking, A Rum Fellow Ptolemy Mann sculptural lamps, while Jonathan Rogers will present his range of contemporary hand-blown glass designs. Ceramicist Fenella Elms will showcase her intricate, nature-inspired porcelain panels, and Sotis Studio will also be presenting his ceramic pieces, inspired by his childhood spent by the sea in Greece.
Dutch company, Beck & Kinch will showcase an array of design items, taking visitors on an emotional journey through all sensual inputs. Italian firm, Turini & Werich, born out of Carlotta Turini’s and John Werich’s mutual love for Italian furniture and design, will showcase their line of high quality furniture.
While Layered, a new Swedish fashion interior brand, will present its latest collection of woven rugs. Other new exhibitors to look out for this year include Boho 1325, Charlotte Jade, Materiko, SkinFlint, Susi Bellamy, Zoe Glengross and Witch & Watchman.
