Heritage carpet manufacturer Brintons has launched Studio Play, a new commercial carpet collection engineered for the demands of high-traffic contract environments…
Developed through a series of in-house creative workshops, the collection from Brintons brings an expressive, artisan aesthetic to a specification-grade product built for hospitality, retail, and corporate interiors.

Series One: Acrylic Ink Exploration
For Series One, the team was invited to play with fluid acrylic inks. The session was intentionally led without a brief, in order to create an open environment where the team was able to experiment, layer and respond instinctively without pressure or intimidation. The result was a body of expressive, unexpected work rich in depth, gesture and atmosphere.

Series Two: Gelli Printing
Studio Play will continue with Gelli printing; a process that embraces texture, layering, and surprise. As the series evolves, each workshop will build on the same philosophy as Series One: create first, design later.
