In response to the call for more environmentally sympathetic and ecologically sound sign systems, Signbox introduced timber fin. Available in a range of profile shapes and sizes, timber finis versatile for landscape applications within the hotel and leisure sector. Supplied from a sustainable source that meets class 1 requirements, timber finis produced by laminating off-cuts of western red cedar. The result is an extremely durable product with a rich, warm colour, whilst the texture of cedar makes an individual architectural statement that blends naturally with the environment.timber fincan be used as a natural alternative to aluminium signs and can be supplied in either monolith or twin post format incorporating individual letters or toughened glass panels with branding or text. Characters can be routed into the profile with the finish left untreated to weather over time, giving an attractive silver grey patina, or alternatively can be protected with pigmented finishes.

With a service life of up to 60 years above ground, timber finwill enable architects and specifiers to design and create a natural, yet future-proof sign to meet the sustainability requirements of environmentally conscious organisations and can assist corporate goals for compliance to ISO140001.
