Thistle Piccadilly is celebrating the completion of an extensive refurbishment, as part of a wider £45 million investment across the Thistle London property portfolio. The renovation of Thistle Piccadilly has transformed all 82 bedrooms, offering guests a contemporary and stylish base ideal for both business and leisure travel. All bedrooms benefit from brand new luxurious en-suite facilities with rainforest showers, specialist mood lighting, LCD TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. The lobby has also been totally remodelled and is now a bright, modern space, graced with soft lighting and furniture.

The newly refurbished House Lounge exudes the style and comfort befitting of its theatrical surroundings, making it the perfect location to enjoy a pre-theatre drink or dinner. The enticing menu features a range of British and European dishes, complemented by an extensive wine list.

Thistle Piccadilly boasts an unrivalled location in the heart of the capital near many of London’s top attractions. With Leicester Square right on the doorstep, guests can also take advantage of a wealth of cinemas and restaurants. Other top attractions that are close by include Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square.

In addition to the Piccadilly refurbishment, Thistle has transformed a further four of its London hotels including:

Thistle Kensington Gardens
This popular London business and leisure hotel has been completely transformed with a new, contemporary look and feel and stunning views over Hyde Park.

Thistle Euston
Conveniently located just a few minute’s stroll from St Pancras International and London King’s Cross station, Thistle Euston is the perfect choice for business travellers. The complete refurbishment of this property includes all 362 bedrooms and six meeting rooms, the largest seating 100 in a theatre-style setting.

The Royal Trafalgar, by Thistle
All 108 bedrooms at The Royal Trafalgar, by Thistle have been newly refurbished offering Standard and Executive rooms. Located on the ground floor, the Lounge and Gravity Bar offer perfect surroundings for after work or pre-dinner drinks.

The Kingsley
Located in the heart of London, the refurbishment of this historic, boutique property has seen a complete transformation of its 127 bedrooms and seven meeting rooms.

Thistle has recently launched free, unlimited WiFi across its portfolio of London Hotels. Provided in partnership with BT WiFi, the service offers first class connectivity to guests, making remote working stress-free and keeping in touch even easier. Guests also benefit from anytime, anywhere internet access throughout the hotel properties, eliminating the need to be confined to WiFi ‘hotspots’.

David Grosfils, Regional Operations Director, comments: “Following a multi-million pound investment and three years of work, we’re extremely proud to announce the completion of this final refurbishment. We are committed to continually investing in our properties to provide first rate accommodation for our guests. The refurbishment has completely transformed bedrooms, bars, restaurants, meeting and events facilities and public areas across our London properties and will ensure our guests continue to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay.”

Directory member Contra Curtains supplied all the soft furnishings to Thistle Kensington Gardens, Thistle Euston and The Royal Trafalgar, by Thistle.
