As if anyone needed another reason to visit the legendary Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc…
Champagne and the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc have been intimate friends throughout the hotel’s history. For years, the great and the good have plotted love lives and world politics as they have sipped a chilled glass of France’s finest sitting on the deck of the Eden-Roc overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the hotel’s iconic swimming pool.Following a €50 million restoration project completed in April 2011, the legendary Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc will now be introducing a glamorous new experience for it’s devoted clientele in 2013 – the ‘Eden-Roc Champagne Lounge’.
Set to become the iconic new place to take a drink on the Riviera, the ‘Eden-Roc Champagne Lounge’ will be located on the open-air upper panoramic terrace of the legendary Eden-Roc. With stunning views of the Mediterranean, the property’s pine forest and of course the hotel’s iconic swimming pool built into the rock, this will be the one of the most beautiful places to sit back and watch the world sail by. With a relaxed ambiance and design and lounge music, it will accommodate up to 40 guests.
The ‘Eden-Roc Champagne Lounge’ will exclusively offer Champagne cocktails from the finest champagne houses in France. It will be working exclusively with 13 different champagne houses selected for their different profiles by Head Sommelier Xavier Dinet. There will be six Cuvées de Champagne served by the glass including Blanc de Blancs, Blanc Millésimé, Rosé, Prestige Blanc and Prestige Rosé. There will also be exclusive vintages on offer such as Jéroboams of Louis Roederer “Cristal Or” 2002, of which only 200 were created worldwide. The unique bottle is covered with a gold coin hand-made by a goldsmith.
The ‘Eden-Roc Champagne Lounge’ is now open until the 1st September 2013 from 6pm to 12.30am.
