Morgan, the British designer and manufacturer of original contract furniture, exhibited at Sleep, 20-21st November, at the Business Design Centre in Islington. Three fresh collections were unveiled to the hospitality sector that can also effortlessly overlap into workplace projects: Brompton, Chelsea and Pimlico.Following the success of the Hampton and Modena collections, Morgan has created a new sofa collection by Design Director Katerina Zachariades. Brompton offers classic 5 star style and utilises Morgan’s expertise in fine upholstery and beautiful timber detailing. Finely tailored square upholstery with a fitted seat cushion is combined with an elegant profiled walnut frame. Brompton delivers a contemporary design that equally suits hotel and workplace projects.

Named after another affluent London area, Chelsea is a neat and light chair with an attractive curved rail detail that can be accented with piping or nails. Simple universal design by Morgan Design Director, Katerina Zachariades, makes this chair a winner for stylish dining and bar environments or as a versatile side chair.

Pimlico is the third debut collection, with the compact lounge chair launched at Sleep being the first design to emerge. Perfect as a bedroom chair with a plump and inviting appearance, Pimlico was created by the Morgan Studio and features smooth curved lines with a unique inset oval seat pad which is wrapped by the frame. Fully upholstered for maximum comfort, Pimlico succeeds in offering a look which is both playful and youthful as well as being timeless and elegant. This makes it versatile for the bedroom, lounge or bar within a diverse range of interior schemes whether contemporary or classic.
