Located in one of Shanghai’s most historic districts – China’s former French Concession, Twelve at Hengshan, a Luxury Collection Hotel opens 29 November 2012.With architecture by Mario Botta – famed for the iconic San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and interiors by cult hospitality design duo Yabu Pushelberg, this residential style 171-room retreat will be home to a ‘Secret Garden’ courtyard – a traditional Chinese garden oasis within the heart of the hotel.
Along with two signature restaurants, a luxury day spa and an indoor heated pool, Twlelve at Hengshan will offer a luxurious retreat from the hustle and bustle from the city dubbed as the Pearl of the Orient.
