Roman, one of the UK’s leading shower manufacturers, has added a brand new folding bath screen to their Embrace range, which is the perfect solution for when space is limited in the bathroom. The bath screen, which is design protected, has been developed following demand from Roman’s hotel partners who are looking for a practical but stylish solution for over bath showering. When working closely with hotel partners Roman found that their key requirements from a bath screen was for a product which gives flexible access into the bath and allows cleaning of the screen to easily take place from outside of the bath. The Embrace bath screen had been created by Roman’s Design Team to meet these needs.

The Embrace Folding bath screen features a unique dual folding mechanism so it can rotate through 180 degrees. This patented technology enables it to fully open outwards and also inwards towards the bath. This ensures you can have complete access to the bath for cleaning and bathing. When not in use the bath screen can also neatly fold away.

The screen features a unique sealing system between the vertical and horizontal aluminium, ensuring those areas that would usually be prone to leaking when showering over bath, remain watertight. The screen is also suitable for use with power-showers, guaranteeing that performance need not be compromised when showering over bath.

The screen stands at a height of 1500mm off the bath and features chrome on brass hinges, with 6mm thick toughened safety glass. Like all Roman enclosures and bath screens, the Embrace Folding bath screen is backed by Roman’s Truelife, Lifetime guarantee, which is service backed by Roman’s dedicated Customer Relations team and Roman’s team of on the road Technical Engineers.

David Osborne, Managing Director at Roman commented: “The Embrace Folding bath screen is an excellent addition to the Roman range. It is ideal for the UK bathroom where, due to our small bathrooms, showering over-bath is still so popular – around 65% of people in the UK are still showering over bath. This screen is styled in line with current trends – offering a minimalist finish, whilst also being practical. It ensures that style need not be compromised, just because you are showering over the bath.”
