The Rezidor Hotel Group announces the extension of the Radisson Blu Majestic Resort, Galzignano Terme in Italy and will rebrand an additional 201 rooms of the resort complex in 2011. Rezidor had taken over the management of the hotel earlier in 2010 and already rebranded 217 rooms.Combined, the resort will offer 418 rooms split into four separate buildings. It is located in the lush, green Colli Euganei geo-thermal area, just 15 km from the Northern Italian cultural hub of Padua – with its excellent high speed train links – and 40 km from the Adriatic. The famous cities of Venice, Padua, Vicenza and Verona are all within easy reach and the hotel is a mere hour away from four airports: Venice, Treviso, Bologna, and Verona. The Euganean Hills surrounding the resort are renowned throughout Italy for their Salus Per Aquam: Water For Health. Guests at The Radisson Blu Majestic Resort, Galzignano Terme can enjoy the benefits of the local thermal springs and mud in the hotel’s exclusive spa.

While the thermal spa is the highlight, the hotel also offers 700 square meters of meeting space, a 9-hole golf course with putting green, driving range and clubhouse, six tennis courts and boutique shops.
