Classic Lodges, the nationwide group of carefully selected high-end properties, has added another associate hotel to its growing portfolio of hotels, bringing the group’s number up to 15.The Georgian Abbey Hotel is just a stroll away from the famous Pump Rooms, Roman Baths and Thermae Spa, and the historic Abbey. The hotel has 60 bedrooms and suites to suit all manner of guests and occasions, each with contemporary décor, as well as a beautifully-designed contemporary lounge and bar.

The new Allium Brasserie is developing a reputation in the city for its dinner menu under acclaimed chef Chris Staines, andalso boasts a carefully selected wine list, with the paved Terrace a great place to enjoy the cuisine al fresco. Open all day serving light lunches and snacks,it is regarded as one of the best places to eat in Bath. The Terrace Cafe is a fantastic place to simply watch the world go by while enjoying a tea or coffee.

The Classic Lodges Associate Hotels programme offers independent hotels of a similar size the opportunity to share the Classic Lodges brand and to benefit from sales and marketing support provided by the Classic Lodges headquarters in Chorley, as Richard Smith, Director of Marketing and Associates at Classic Lodges, explains:

“The Abbey Hotel dovetails perfectly into the Classic Lodges group; with its brilliant location at the centre of this beautiful World Heritage Site City, its architecture and general feel are the ideal accompaniment to our expanding portfolio of hotels.

“The growing reputation of the restaurant is also a major draw for us, as all of our properties have a focus on great food and drink offerings and this is certainly the case with the Allium Brasserie.”
