Champagne Perrier-Jouët are delighted to announce a collaboration with Leading Mayfair hotel, DUKES LONDON, on the opening of the brand new Perrier-Jouët Lounge on Monday 18th April 2011.

The Perrier-Jouët Lounge will provide DUKES LONDON with an additional relaxation lounge to complement both its ever successful Martini Bar and the newly introduced Cigar Garden, accommodating all guests with individual tastes. Located next to the dining room, the Lounge will also provide the perfect venue for a pre dinner glass of champagne.

The stylish interiors have been designed by Shaun Clarkson to evoke an air of British Tradition combined with a touch of Belle Epoque era Parisian Chic.

Debrah Dhugga, General Manager Commented ‘The DUKES LONDON Perrier-Jouët Lounge will be a fantastic edition to the hotel and will provide guests with an area where they can unwind and embrace ultimate indulgence. As DUKES Martini Bar continues to gain great praise run by Alessandro Palazzi and his team, we are confident we will see the same success with the Perrier-Jouët Lounge.’

DESIGN NOTES:

Carpet
The Carpet is a sculpted pattern of green tones of scattered anemones, the Bell Époque signature flower.

Walls
The Walls are papered in contrasting designs in tones of gold, champagne and Sage. A gold fish scale on sage green ground, compliments the more graphic gold stripe on a champagne ground.

Lighting
The lighting is made up 2 main elements. The central statement is the1940’s original vintage glass champagne colour chandelier, with fluted gold candles. Then there are the vintage glass and wrought iron floor lamps, 4 of, that are topped with bespoke Champagne silk drum shades. These supply the romantic lighting for the furniture vignettes.

Sofas
The bespoke sofas are a modern take on chesterfield sofa. Deep buttoned. With squarer arms, that give them a more modern classic feel. These are upholstered in a fresh green glazed linen.

Chairs
There are 2 chair designs. An elegant spoon back chair, like a modern salon chair, in contrasting sage green and funky pink glazed linens, and 3 in Champagne leather. There are also 2 wing back chairs taking pride of place, upholstered in a green and cream geometric pattern.

Cushions
Cushions in 2 contrasting textures, both in fushia, These set off the palet of greens perfectly

Colours
The colour pallet os inspired by the classic Belle Époque bottle, with fresher green tones give the room a more modern mood. Golds, creams and champagne tones, create the background and the hot pick sets the whole lot on fire!
