Morgan, the British designer and manufacturer of original contract furniture, will exhibit for the first time at designjunction 18-22nd September at The Sorting Office WC1. No stranger to the London design scene, Morgan is a regular participant in Clerkenwell Design Week and has previously exhibited at 100% Design. The company is drawn to designjunction, one of the newer shows at the London Design Festival, by its inspirational mix of established global brands along with emerging talents. On Stand S11a on the second floor, Morgan will present three signature collections from their in-house Morgan Studio led by Design Director Katerina Zachariades.

A new small lounge chair will be unveiled as part of the contemporary Miami Collection. One of the most recognised Morgan designs with distinctive 50’s styling, this popular sofa and chair collection is now suitable for wider applications thanks to the more compact footprint of this latest addition. Miami offers a two and three-seater sofa, lounge chair with optional metal swivel base, footstool and barstool.

The Lima Collection is an exciting example of how Morgan selects species timber and high quality fabrics to create contemporary, versatile furniture. The overall feel of the collection is young and playful. Lima is available as a lounge chair, dining chair and there are matching bar stools, footstools and tables to suit a wide variety of commercial environments. At designjunction, Lima chairs will be exhibited in oak.

Launched in 2012, the Lucca Collection is one of Morgan’s most recent launches. Lucca harnesses the current trend for traditional upholstery detailing such as piping and develops it into a continuous, contemporary detail which brings the upholstery to life. This looks particularly striking when upholstered in a contrasting fabric. The
Show wood base demonstrates Morgan’s design flair for taking vintage influences and creating desirable, contemporary furniture. Lucca comes as a lounge chair, with or without arms, dining chair and is also available with optional metal swivel base.

All three collections on display demonstrate Morgan’s trademark combination of timeless style and superior quality craftsmanship. They are suitable for a wide variety of applications including workplace, hospitality, cruise ships and healthcare.
