the global leader in supplying connectivity products to the hospitality industry is pleased to announce Cairn Group has chosen to include its premier product MediaHub HD product as part of their guestroom entertainment centre for the Holiday Inn Newcastle Upon Tyne and Scotch Corner Holiday Inn properties.Owned and managed by the Cairn Hotel Group, the hotels have undergone major refurbishment and room enhancement. The properties aim to be in line with Holiday Inn’s new worldwide brand experience – “Wake Up Recharged. Get Refreshed. Stay Connected.”MediaHub HD connectivity panel was the clear choice for Cairn Hotel Group to facilitate the “home away from home” in-room entertainment experience in the brand’s “Stay Connected” theme.

“The Cairn Group continues to focus on offering value to our customers, we also aim to provide our guests a great experience. Providing TV connectivity and high-speed Internet is as important to leisure guests as it is for our many corporate clients. Adding the MediaHub to the guest room amenities uplifts the grade of the hotels and assists our sales and marketing team to drive new revenues” Says Aneil Handa, Cairn Group.

With MediaHub HD as part of the in-room entertainment centre, both business and leisure guests can enjoy their personal music playlists, films, video games, photo slideshows and more on the in-room flat panel TV. MediaHub HD is also the only connectivity panel to feature a Stereo Bluetooth pairing point. That means guests can pair their Apple iDevice or other other MP3 players with MediaHub HD to play music through the TV speakers without tying their player to the panel with a cable. They can relax and keep their MP3 players with them to control their playlists or browse other “apps” while their music plays.
