Lucy Heber-Percy’s first solo exhibition is to be held at The Mezzanine Gallery, The Granary, Weston Park, Shropshire and opens tomorrow.Fascinated by Vintage art and the Victorian era, Lucy’s photographs are influenced by the colours used in Victorian photographic processes, as well as the colours of plants and flowers at their different stages of life, more particularly once they have finished flowering and dying out.

All 32 photographs have been taken in the past year, depicting flowers in assorted scenes, shot in various locations including France and Bali as well as in the United Kingdom.

The photographs have all been re-coloured and enhanced to produce the look of old printing processes. All photographs will be sold as a limited edition of 25.

Lucy Heber-Percy was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. In 2005, she commenced her freelance photography career, specialising in garden and plant photography.

    Previous group exhibitions include:

2001: Art for Youth, London at Mall Galleries, London

The exhibition will be held at The Mezzanine Gallery, The Granary, Weston Park, Shifnal, Shropshire, TF11 8LE.
