Louvre Hotels Group establishes itself in Russia
Louvre Hotels Group has opened its first hotel in Russia. Opened to the public in January 2012, this Tulip Inn hotel is located in the Rosa Khutor Alpine Ski Resort in the Caucasus. The resort will host downhill skiing events at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games in February 2014. A second hotel, under the Golden Tulip brand, is due to open at the beginning of the third quarter in the same resort. Both hotels will be managed by IFK Hotel Management.

The arrival of Louvre Hotels Group in Russia, bringing the total number of countries in which the Group is present to 41, reflects the Group’s desire to continue its development in Eastern Europe. The Group aims to establish solid foundations for its medium and high range Tulip Inn and Golden Tulip brands in Russia, and already has two other construction projects underway in St.Petersburg and Altay region.

Louvre Hotels Group extends its presence in Algeria
Louvre Hotels Group announces the opening of its first hotel in Algeria, which will become the 42nd country where the Group is present. The Golden Tulip Arc-en-Ciel hotel located at Skikda will open in 2013. Strengthened by its success in Tunisia (4 hotels, 874 bedrooms) and Morocco (7 hotels, 1410 bedrooms) Louvre Hotels Group intends to profit from the opportunities offered by the Algerian hotel market and aims to open at least five other Golden Tulip hotels there.

The Group is now strongly represented in the North Africa and Middle East region, where it is ranked 4th largest hotels group with 53 hotels in eight countries, representing a total of 8,300 rooms. North Africa and the Middle East are among the geographical areas that contribute the most to the Group’s development.
