Ideal Standard, a leading provider of innovative and design-driven bathroom solutions, today launches its new bathroom collection Playa, created by award-winning design house, ArteFakt. The Playa collection offers a linear design while conceptually remaining distinctly contemporary. Wide surfaces and straight angles deliver a comfortable relaxing bathroom experience, without compromising on style and design. The Playa range comprises of five different basin options, full and semi pedestal options as well as three WC options plus bidet, all of which come with a lifetime guarantee.

ArteFakt’s design characteristic for this new range balances a mix of round and rectangular shapes. The form of the inner basin blends softly towards the front edge meaning that the contour and inner basin shape converge to create the distinction.

The Concept Furniture collection has been expanded to be compatible with Playa along with the Studio and Alto collections, making it the perfect accompaniment to each of these major Ideal Standard ranges.

Achim Pohl, ArteFakt comments “The Playa collection has a very characteristic design line that really stands out. We consciously create a balance between familiar trend shapes and innovative elements. Thanks to this approach, the collection blends well with the contemporary bathroom styles while emphasising a young and modern character”.
